Spicy BBQ Wings

Ingredients

6 pcs chicken wings
1 Tbsp smoked paprika powder
1 Tbsp mustard
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp melted butter
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Clean chicken wings and pat dry.

  2. Mix all other ingredients together to form a paste. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. Rub the marinade onto wings, then cover and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

  4. Preheat the Birkeshire Air Fryer to 200°C. Place the marinated wings in the air fryer and set the timer to 10 minutes. Cook until the wings are brown.

  5. Then turn the wings over in the pan, lower the temperature to 160°C and cook for another 15-20 minutes until done.

  6. Check for doneness with a fork or food thermometer.

  7. Carefully remove the drumsticks from the air fryer. Serve with salad, corn, potatoes or bread of choice.
