Apple Chips

Ingredients

3 large sweet, crispy apples
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Clean apples and slice thin into 1/8 inch thick long round slices. Thoroughly pat dry with paper towels.

  2. Mix all other ingredients together and djust seasoning to taste.

  3. Toss the apple slices in the seasoning and coat evenly.

  4. Preheat the Birkeshire Air Fryer to 200°C. Place the slices in a single layer without overcrowding in the air fryer. Cook in 2-3 batches if necessary.

  5. Set the timer to 4 minutes, and cook until slightly brown.

  6. Turn the slices over in the fryerand cook for another 4 minutes until golden brown, or longer for darker, crispier results.

  7. Carefully remove the chips from the air fryer. They will continue to crisp during cooling. Serve plain or with dips and accompaniments of choice.
